Eat To The Beat (Blondie)

Love is not always lovelier the second time around. At least the love for food.

A few weeks ago we patronised Eastpoint’s Eatzi Steakhouse & Bistro, after the botched reservation by Han River Barbeque Restaurant. Back then the steak they served to us were marvellous, but on our second visit last Sunday they no longer tasted the same. I guess we’ll have to go back to Mak’s Place again for our steak cravings.

I decided to also order their black pepper crayfish pasta for a change and was very disappointed at its bland taste. I didn’t taste any black pepper at all and thought the waiter had sent me the wrong order. I think the black pepper need to be visible for the dish to be called such.

It was also Ooyah’s monthly birthday celebration as always, where whe received a couple of gifts from the family. The one that delighted her the most was that of a rabbit that jumped out of a square-shaped book when opened. Come next month when she’ll turn 1, the monthly birthday celebrations will turn annual. A baby can only be pampered so much.
