Cousins Germains (Michael Godard)
It was a meeting of cousins yesterday afternoon. Diana and I, as well as Ooyah and her son. The last time I saw them was almost 3 years ago. I don’t meet my cousins often as most of them are in Kuala Lumpur, and only 2 are in Singapore. Diana came with her godmother and family, who took charge of her after her mother’s death almost 20 years ago. Among all my cousins, she’s the tallest to the point of even eclipsing yours truly.
While the rest of the family were adequately dressed to welcome the guests, somebody decided to go alfresco. 🙂
Mak was at hand to make sure nobody went home hungry and I sort of took charge of the kids while watching The Simpsons on television. Ooyah was delighted to have more friends to play with and was even friendly to a younger counterpart. At least I think she was being friendly … caught her hugging the other baby and somewhat smacked her head at the same time. She even let her play with her toys and ride her countless ‘cars’ around the apartment, occasionally taking short breaks to show off her hundreds of pictures to Diana’s godmother.
I hope to bring her meet her other cousins in Kuala Lumpur one of these days.
